Behind The Broken Cross was a very good read. There is a lot going on in the church that the everyday person does not know about. This story will make you wonder. The author keeps you wanting more and more. This is a book you really want to read.
This book exposes so much corruption that is rampant in the churches today. The author educates the reader through powerful sermons as well as through examples of societal misfortunes. After reading this book, you will no longer be in denial and afraid to openly discuss the corruption in churches that you are familiar with.

Meet Minister Greg Hill a man of God, doing his best to live the word and stay in God's graces, while dealing with his wife's illness and two children who have turned away from their parents receives the blessing of his mentor to become the new pastor as they prepare to move into the new larger sanctuary. Meet Bobby "Showtime" Hayes, the son of Minister Hill's mentor, who feels he or his brother should be the rightful leader of the church, but when an agreement is made between Minister Hill and Minister Bobby Hayes, they each get a church. In the old church, Minister Hill continues to make it a better house of worship continuing to magnify GOD. While Bobby harbors a den of inequity overflowing with pedophiles, drug addicts, adulterer's, and harlots. All claiming to be Christians when there's nothing Christian going on there.
Behind the Broken Cross gives the reader a glimpse of what some of us know exist in our houses of worship. Preacher's who pimp from the pulpit and preacher's who are truly anointed bringing a message of healing. Will goodness and mercy continue to follow Minister Hill? Or will Minister Hayes continue to make a down-payment in hell? What price are you willing to put on your soul?
Mr. Prophet did an excellent job with the conflict between the two entities. Exposing secrets, sins, lies and mess that goes on in the name of the Lord.
